Terms of service

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. Provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and for people or systems you authorize to use it.

What beta means

Starjay is an open beta. Features may change, be limited, or be removed; capacity may be capped; and maintenance or defects may interrupt service. We will use reasonable care in operating the product but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Do not rely on the beta as the only copy of business-critical information. Use available checkpoints and exports and keep any additional copy your risk level requires.

Your content and sites

You keep ownership of content you provide and sites you create. You give Starjay a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, modify, transmit, display, and publish that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service or follow your instructions.

You represent that you have the rights needed for the content, domains, data, code, and instructions you submit. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your published sites and for notices or consent required for analytics, forms, cookies, or third-party scripts you add.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output provided to others. Review generated code, copy, assets, and legal or factual claims before publishing. Starjay does not guarantee that AI output is unique, non-infringing, or fit for a particular purpose.

Plans, credits, and payment

Prices, included credits, billing intervals, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Pro and recurring credit packs renew until canceled and are managed separately: canceling Pro does not cancel your recurring credit packs. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the checkout terms say otherwise.

Credits are consumed as shown in the product and are not cash or transferable property. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of their credit window and do not roll over, including monthly allocations under annual subscriptions.

Custom domains are currently available on Free. When Pro ends, the workspace returns to the Free plan’s active-site limit, currently three sites. Excess sites are archived and unpublished, and their custom domains are disconnected. If payment fails, paid features may be limited or suspended as described in the product.

Fees are non-refundable except where the product expressly says otherwise or law requires a refund. Taxes may apply.

We may change prices, features, usage limits, and availability, including within paid subscriptions, to develop the service or respond to changes in operating costs, third-party services, security, abuse, or legal requirements. Changes may take effect at any time except where applicable law requires advance notice, consent, or a right to cancel or receive a refund. We will meet those requirements.

Acceptable use and enforcement

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, disable a published site, limit features, suspend an account, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or our providers; comply with law; or address a material breach. When practical and safe, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.

Third-party services

Starjay relies on third-party identity, infrastructure, AI, email, domain, and payment services. Your use of an external domain, integration, model, or payment method may also be subject to that provider’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party products you choose to connect or for their independent acts.

Ending use of Starjay

You may stop using Starjay and cancel paid plans through the product or Support. You may request account data export or deletion through Support. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, legal requirement, serious security risk, nonpayment, or discontinuation of the beta.

Sections that by their nature should survive— including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—continue after termination.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Starjay disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that law does not allow us to exclude.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starjay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Starjay’s total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Starjay during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Disputes and changes

Contact support@starjay.com first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. Either party may pursue available remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply.

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. We will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law. Subject to those requirements, continuing to use the service after the stated effective date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and cancel any renewal.
